Beginning Canine Freestyle II~~~NEW CLASS!!

Beginning Canine Freestyle II is a fun and challenging way to showcase your dog's obedience skills and tricks by setting them to music. Human students in this class should already be experienced in using clicker/verbal mark training; in this class, a dog's 'mistake' might be the beginning of a great new move, so expect to stretch your observation, timing, capturing and shaping skills. This is a 90 minute class for handlers who are working on Beginner level freestyle performance skills with their dogs.
This class builds on previous Beginning Freestyle class, but new class members welcome if the handler has some familiarity with freestyle and with teaching tricks and obedience behaviors. Your dog should be dog friendly, have Canine Good Citizen level skills or better and be able to rest quietly in a crate or on a mat while not working. Rally, competition obedience or agility experience is a plus. Dogs should attend class wearing a buckle or martingale collar or a harness. Plan to bring a crate to each class.

NEXT SESSION: If intersested, please let us know. Next class time and date TBD
Instructing: Jeanne Thomas~CPDT and American Kennel Club (AKC) Evaluator
